Zypha Technologies Ltd (Zypha) was initially incorporated as Telewise Communications Ltd in 2007 as a UK private limited company, changing its name in 2013 to coincide with the launch of our groundbreaking proof of concept service and a rigorous pre-launch testing programme.
Zypha operates through 2 wholly-owned subsidiaries in the UK and in the USA, each having specific geographical focus and a distinct business plan.

Derek Bell

Main Board Director & CEO

Graduated from the Cummins Diesel Engine training school in 1973 and was appointed a Work Study Engineer overseeing all aspects of O & M and change management activities.  Subsequently, over the last 35 years he has founded, managed and acted as a consultant to a number of businesses in the UK and overseas - ranging from financial services to the music and film industries and was an early promoter of web based e-Commerce solutions. In 1999 he was appointed CEO of a fledgling IT and software development company on behalf of a consortium of investors and in 2006, he led a management buy-out and has transformed the business into a leading edge, billing, customer care and management supplier in the Telecommunications and SaaS sectors.

Derek has a particular interest in technology start-ups and is a Volunteer with Young Enterprise, a registered charity which provides business experience and funding to budding entrepreneurs.

Darryl Keys

Main Board Director & US CEO

Commenced his career in banking in the corporate banking division of Nat West Bank, before serving as Head of Corporate Banking of the London office of MeesPearson, a major Dutch bank  for which he built a successful and highly profitable operation. Darryl was head hunted by Singer and Friedlander, a London independent merchant bank, and was appointed a Director in the corporate banking division, responsible for new business and strategy whilst pioneering ground-breaking sports finance financial instruments during which time he served as President of the Executives Association of Great Britain,

He left banking to structure and launch a sports media business through which he became Chairman of Mike Gatting’s (England cricket captain) Testimonial Committee and was appointed Director of the Rugby Football League. More recently, he has advised a number of companies focusing on strategy, business planning, fundraising mechanisms and cross-Atlantic trading, specialising in technology and environmentally friendly businesses.

John Richardson

Main Board Director & COO

A vastly experienced, intuitive and successful Director of European IT with a specialisation in IT Strategy, development, migration, integration, outsourcing and new IT/Data Centre builds. Former European IT Director of Acxiom Ltd, a global marketing data, analytics and SaaS company, with headquarters in the USA. Provided infrastructure support ranging from fully managed services to network management for many large blue-chip and high-profile clients including GE, Capital One, Bank of America, IBM, Dell and other major banks and companies. During his career, John has held significant IT and consultancy roles at Jaguar Cars, GE Capital, Asda, Kellogg’s (USA), Shell Oil and Midland Bank (HSBC).

He has a depth of experience in a wide range of application systems including banking, finance and accounting, data security, marketing and project management.Recently he has joined Zypha as Group Chief Operating Officer to build and manage our technology and service infrastructure.

Sangita Shah

Past President of the Chartered Institute of Journalists, a trustee of Care UK and a board member of the Commonwealth Business Council. A regular consultant to HM Cabinet Office and blue chip organizations including HSBC and Rathbones Brothers Plc. A former Director of the Leading Edge Strategy Company associated with KPMG and has worked for Ernst and Young, Mars, where she set up the global drinks business at Unilever. Voted Britain’s top 40 media asset and is a frequent key note speaker in a number of forums including the European Parliament, Warwick Leadership Foundation, Windsor Leadership Trust and the European School of Management.

Sangita is a mentor for the government backed University College of London (UCL) Advances programme which seeks to foster entrepreneurship and business interaction within the digital community to establish the Country’s pre-eminence in the sector.
